Barcelona to Host Historic Match at Renovated Camp Nou on Saturday
The club confirmed their first game will take place at the partially upgraded Camp Nou over the weekend. Athletic Bilbao will visit the Basque side in domestic competition two and a half years following their departure for construction to commence.

Not all seats will be available though over 45,000 attendees can be present under the licence granted. When completed, it will accommodate close to 105,000 fans, a rise from the old capacity. The club said finished work included a renovated tunnel for players along with upgraded changing facilities.
Stadium Testing
Barcelona held a fan-accessible workout at the Camp Nou in early November. Officials stated they are seeking authorization by UEFA to play their next home Champions League game versus the German side in December at the stadium. They have been hosting matches at Estadio Olímpic Lluís Companys.
