Aryna Sabalenka concluded the tour with an notable 23-3 Grand Slam match record.

The top-ranked player Aryna Sabalenka has been voted the Women's Tennis Association top performer of the year for a second successive year.

The twenty-seven-year-old captured four titles – the most on tour – including successfully defending the US Open in September against Amanda Anisimova to claim her fourth Grand Slam singles championship.

A Year of Consistency

Throughout the year, Sabalenka reached a circuit-leading nine championship matches, with losses coming to Madison Keys in the Australian Open final at the start of the year and Coco Gauff in the French Open final.

The Belarusian also triumphed at the Brisbane International early in the season, the Miami Open during the spring, and the Madrid Open in May. She spent the entire year as the top-ranked player, ending 2025 on top of the rankings for a second straight year.

This past summer, she achieved the status of being the first athlete to exceed 12,000 WTA ranking points since Serena Williams did so nearly a decade ago.

Record-Breaking Achievements

Sabalenka ended the season with a sixty-three to twelve win-loss record, and earned a record eleven million pounds in tournament winnings.

She garnered almost eighty percent of the votes cast by international tennis media.

Later this month, she is set to play 2022 Wimbledon runner-up Nick Kyrgios in a Battle of the Sexes-style exhibition match with the aim of "help bring women's tennis to a new level".
