Recent details have emerged regarding the tragic demises of acclaimed director Rob Reiner and visual artist Michele Singer Reiner, whose bodies were found at their Brentwood, Los Angeles residence on Sunday.

A source indicates quoting a family associate, a practitioner arriving for an appointment first raised the alarm after being unable to gain access the house. This individual then reached out to the couple's daughter, Romy Reiner, who resides in the vicinity.

When she went into the house, Romy came upon her father's body. Reports state she then left the home distraught, not realizing at that moment that her mother's body was there as well. Her roommate who had accompanied her contacted 911. Afterward, emergency responders discovered Michele Singer Reiner's body.

Legal Charges

Authorities have formally accused the couple's 32-year-old son, Nick Reiner, with two counts of first-degree murder, as well as the charge related to a weapon, said to be a knife. He is presently being held and is ineligible for bail.
